Visit the magnificent Château of Chambord and learn all about Francis I of France. Set sail for Brittany and step into the shoes of a famous adventurer, or plunge yourself into the Celtic legends of the mythical Forest of Broceliande. French heritage is not only about buildings, it is also about cultural and natural sites: lakes, canals, volcanoes, craftsmanship or regional specialities.

You can enjoy the comfort of your fully-equipped rentals or pitches, and each day set off to explore nearby monuments classified as world heritage sites by UNESCO. From a campsite in Ardèche, you can visit a replica of Chauvet-Pont d’Arc cave, which has been both classified and under protection since 2014. Stay on a campsite in the Dordogne Valley and take the whole family on a day trip to Rocamadour to see Saint-Sauveur Basilica or the crypt of Saint-Amadour. Maybe you’d prefer a campsite on the Santiago de Compostela trails to discover the incredible villages and buildings. And of course not-to-mention the iconic Mont Saint-Michel in Normandy!
