The layout of the campsite, the little river and forest area below, farm animals around, delicious roast chicken, security gates at entrance and exit of campsite, suggestions on things to do (excellent hike up to Lake Gaube), and the overall friendly management and staff.
The woodland pitch is an excellent spot to stay. . Cooler in the summer. Lovely little stream with rock pools for kids and dads to play in. Owners and staff are very friendly and it's ideally located for exploring the Pyrenees.
Sadly Lourdes was pretty shut down due to Covid so not much to do once we had visited the centre.
Obviously not the site's fault
Moon cottage was in a lovely location overlooking the woods. The site in general was in a good location within walking distance of Lourdes town yet in a beautiful countryside location.. the staff were friendly and spoke excellent English and although we didn’t eat in the restaurant the cooked chicken that we had to take back to the cottage was very tasty. It was a dog friendly site.
Nothing directly to do with the site but it was annoying that the bus that ran into Lourdes did not allow dogs.
Spacious pitch, privacy and surrounding landscape. Lovely walks around site and into Lourdes
Staff very friendly, obliging and extremely helpful.
The friendliness of the owners and their staff. The small size of the site and its location.
