Excellent pool for proper swimming. And relaxed mood to the whole site
Bar and restaurant not open. Despite this still being advertised at time of booking
We spent a few days here in early September which was great for us. The campsite was quiet, easy and relaxed with clean and plentiful facilities. Pitches were large and secluded in the shade of the trees. The small shop on site was very useful and the bread and croissants each morning were very good. The hosts were both friendly and helpful, giving advice on the surrounding area. Cycling along the canal was very pleasant and nearby Vazelay was a lovely town with good places to eat. We would return here to explore more of the area.
Nothing to dislike although I imagine it gets busy in high season which may be more suited to families.
The campsite is situated in shady woodland yet close to the village. Plenty of footpaths from the campsite to explore the local area.
The facilities were very clean & well maintained and the staff were extremely helpful.
