The Sites et Paysages Le Fief Melin campsite is less than two kilometres from the beach, and is perfect for exploring the treasures of Oleron Island at your own pace.
After visiting the most beautiful villages on the island, or after a walk along the coastal path, you’ll be able to come back to this family-friendly campsite and relax in the heated swimming pool.
Unless you prefer to hire a bike on-site, and ride to the citadel in Château d’Oléron.
Whether you have chosen to stay in a mobile home, chalet or rent a camping pitch for your tent or motorhome, prepare yourselves for a complete change of scenery.

This was our second year in a row visiting this site and Oleron. Very friendly and well run site with clean big pitches and excellent sanitary blocks. The pool is pleasant and there are plenty of loungers. The best beaches are only a cycle away. The family who run it are polite, friendly and not intrusive. The citadel is only a short spin on the bike and if you're like us you'll go down there every evening for food in the many restaurants.
The bar seems only to be open in High Season so there's nowhere on site for a drink in June, however this is a small point.
We liked the great welcome et the attention during all our stay
The very warm and friendly welcome. The location near oyster beds. The cafe bar. The relaxed atmosphere but very well run site.
Small tree at back of our pitch in the middle meant it restricted the positioning of the Moho. No hose provided at chemical loo disposal point.
