Aveyron gourmet evening
The campsite owners Magali and Vincent, offer holidaymakers the chance to taste some delicious local specialities from Aveyron such as bread with roquefort or “farçous with chard” and the famous Aligot.
Walk up to the “Notre Dame des Lacs” statue
Vincent, campsite owner and native of Aveyron, will be delighted to show the wonders of his beautiful region. He will take holidaymakers on a 2-hr walk from the campsite, along the shores of the lake, then through the forest and fields, to a village that is characteristic of the region: Verhnes. The walk then continues up to the “Notre Dame des Lacs” statue where there’s a superb panoramic view.

You are only 3 km away from the pretty village of Salles-Curan. Take to the heights on Millau Viaduct or delve into the depths of the earth, at the Micropolis city of insects. The Roquefort Caves are an example of local expertise passed down through the generations.
