Discover wild plants
A nature walk to learn how to recognise local wild plants, with an expert. Holidaymakers pick the plants and then learn how to cook with them.
Tasting algae with Scarlette
Scarlette Le Corre, a local celebrity from Guilvinec will teach you all about the powers of algae. This woman is a deep-sea fisherman, well-known for her expertise regarding algae. She will show holidaymakers what we can do with algae, local products made from algae, and medicinal qualities.
Walk to Madeleine Chapel
A walk from the campsite to a small 16th-century chapel nearby. It was built onto a Celtic place of worship, near some megaliths. After discovering the chapel, the campsite owners offer holidaymakers a glass of cider or fruit juice.
A region with a lot to discover
The La Torche surf spot is just a stone’s throw away, for surfers or those who are simply curious. Come and explore the port of Guilvinex, Haliotika Fishing Discovery Centre and taste the local fish and seafood. Pointe du Raz and the city of Quimper await you.

We love the La Torche team, their relaxed family atmosphere and their willingness to provide an excellent service, meeting any requirements. We also love the laid back atmosphere of the campsite which is a huge plus for a holiday. We enjoyed exploring the area by bicycle.
The only thing that I disliked about my stay was having to return home! But knowing we'll stay next summer made me feel a little better.
We love the site, the friendly staff, the facilities and location.
The caravan we were allocated had had water leaking issues previously.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. You are always greeted by a smile at Camping La Torche. They are generous of their time. Activities for kids are great: kids club, pool, bouncy castle, trampolines. You can order bread and croissants every day. The staff seems more than happy to guide you about anything related to the camping or activities in the region.
I'd be willing to pay more to stay in a camping that has a no smoking policy - it's the outdoors, we go camping to be in nature and when your neighbour smokes next to you, it's really unpleasant (this has nothing to do with the camping or the friendly staff, it's the fault of other customers not being mindful of those around them - sadly.)
Nice French site , not too big , friendly helpful staff . Lovely big pitches with good shade . Plenty of toilets / shower / wash places . Good location .
Came to surf with kids. All good but the surf
Quite and welcome site in beautiful coastal area. Great for cycling and beaches
