Walk up to the “Notre Dame des Lacs” statue

weekly Wednesday mornings

Vincent, campsite owner and native of Aveyron, will be delighted to show the wonders of his beautiful region. He will take holidaymakers on a 2-hr walk from the campsite, along the shores of the lake, then through the forest and fields, to a village that is characteristic of the region: Verhnes. The walk then continues up to the “Notre Dame des Lacs” statue where there’s a superb panoramic view.

You are only 3 km away from the pretty village of Salles-Curan. Take to the heights on Millau Viaduct or delve into the depths of the earth, at the Micropolis city of insects. The Roquefort Caves are an example of local expertise passed down through the generations.

    The jet skis on the lake, although this was nothing to do with the campsite.

    A tranquil place to unwind and enjoy a comfortable site, well run, friendly and helpful. Plenty of room for a caravan and awning and a car still leaving space to sit and enjoy the view.
