CampsiteChâteau de Leychoisier
Welcome to Roger-Jean Verscheure's campsite
This thousand-year-old fortress has long-forgotten the battles of the Middle Ages and is now the location of a charming campsite. Lovers of the great outdoors will enjoy staying at the Château de Leychoisier with outdoor swimming pool, located near Limoges. Victor Hugo even found inspiration for one of his poems here...
Choose the perfect camping pitch to set up your tent, or maybe you’d prefer to rent a chalet, overlooking the château, in the shade of the ancient sequoias. A luxury campsite which combines history, traditions and relaxation as a family.

We liked the ambience, beautiful Chateau and grounds, friendly owner and staff
Too many trees, no grey water disposal
By lovely old chateau. I saw a deer family in the chateau grounds. Nice pool and bar, very reasonably priced. The pitches are good sized. It rained when we were there so we got a bit muddy.
Not within easy walking distance of anywhere.
A charming stay with numerous other guests talking about how they had come 30 years ago
. Beautiful pool makes you feel like you are living in your own chateau. Mystery walk to lake and mill house like something out of famous five. On site restaurant run by two French ladies was popular.
Not close enough to anywhere to visit without a car.,
Spectacular scenery, quiet, tranquil site, fantastic service from owner & staff, pitch sizes, great balance of shade from sunshine and blue skies, superb location.
Pool opening times limited (11:00 - 18:30) early morning & early evening swim would have been great but it didn’t spoil our enjoyment.
Lots of space
We were very disappointed by the restaurant as the menu and standard of food was poor and let down the whole experience. For our stay. The reception was very good and helpful but the bar and restaurant was very lacking
Showers were clean but tired in decor.
Unhappy about the bar shutting at 7pm. It felt like the service had been cut down to the minimum. Which is a shame because the site and the setting was beautiful
