They share their holiday memories
Alec W. – Le Château de Rochetaillée
In the summer of 2015 our family stayed at Le Chateau Rochataillée near Bourg D’Oisains.
We watched two stages of Le Tour De France including one passing right past the site. Helicopters were flying over and landing, and there was a buzz of people a short distance away.
Myself and my son Jake went to see what was happening. When the crowds cleared President Sarkozy was stood there. We had a photo with him and he got back in his helicopter and flew off!
We had a great holiday, good weather, family time, nice food and amazing scenery plus awesome cycling!
David S. – La Garangeoire
We often stayed at La Garangeoire at St Julian des Landes and have happy memories thanks to the famille de Kerautem. Their hospitality was second to none and attention to detail ensured that we had everything we needed.
The children enjoyed the freedom to roam in a safe environment. We visited the coast and I remember on one occasion when a storm suddenly occurred and we worried that our tent at the campsite was still open, only to find on our return it had been closed and secured so our bedding was dry.
Mary M. – La Bien-Assise
We have been going to Guines for many years and used on site accommodation and also our own tents.
Last year we took 2 tents and introduced our 6 year old grandaughter to the joys of camping. She loved every minute and despite the rain had a wonderful holiday.
From the croissants in the shop to the swimming pool to the excitement of sleeping under canvas and the lovely French experience – we all loved every minute. We can’t wait to return.
